Individual Sessions
Understanding who you are beneath long-standing roles and expectations.

Relational, identity-focused therapy for people ready to understand what isn’t working and why.

Individual therapy at Unfold is for people who feel something isn’t working the way it used to, in their relationships, their identity, or within themselves. Some arrive carrying strain, anxiety, or frustration; others notice a quiet misalignment they can’t fully name yet. Often, it’s both.

Our work approaches identity and personal growth through a relational and attachment-informed lens: how experiences, expectations, and long-held roles shape your sense of self and the way you connect with others. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we explore recurring patterns with clarity and intention, understanding why they developed and what becomes possible once they make sense. Insight and real-world change grow together here, supporting stronger self-trust and more intentional ways of relating.

I take an active, collaborative role in sessions. We talk honestly, think deeply, and move at a pace that respects both growth and the complexity of change.

This work often resonates with people navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity questions, or anxiety and who want the agency to apply new awareness in meaningful, lasting ways.

Teens
Supporting identity as it begins to take shape.

Relational support for teens navigating identity, pressure, and the challenges of growing into themselves.

Some teens come to therapy because something feels heavy.  Anxiety, disconnection, social pressure, or struggles at home or school stack up. Others aren’t sure how to explain what’s wrong, only knowing things don’t feel the way they used to. Often, both pain and curiosity are present at the same time.

At Unfold, teen therapy helps young people understand themselves within the context of relationships and development. We explore identity, emotional experiences, and patterns that shape how they respond to stress, expectations, and connection. Rather than rushing to fix behavior, the work focuses on insight, self-trust, and healthier ways of expressing who they are becoming.

My approach is relational, active, and developmentally attuned. Sessions create space for honest conversation, reflection, and growth at a pace that feels respectful and safe. As understanding deepens, teens often begin applying new awareness in their relationships, at school, and within themselves.

This work resonates with teens who are thoughtful, sensitive, or feeling pressure to hold everything together.

My practice is best suited for teens who are stable enough for insight-oriented outpatient therapy and may not be the right fit for those needing intensive, crisis-level, or higher-acuity support.

Couples Counseling
Building connection without losing yourself.

Relational therapy for couples ready to understand repeating patterns and create meaningful change together.

Couples often reach out when familiar patterns begin creating distance, conflict, or a sense of disconnection that’s hard to name. You may find yourselves having the same conversations, carrying unresolved hurt, or wondering why things keep escalating even when both of you care deeply about the relationship. Often, there is both pain and a genuine desire to understand what’s happening beneath the surface.

At Unfold, couples therapy looks beneath surface-level conflict to understand the relational dynamics shaping your connection. We explore attachment, long-standing roles, and interaction patterns. Not to assign blame, but to make sense of why certain moments unfold the way they do and how new ways of responding can begin to emerge. As each partner develops a clearer sense of self, the relationship itself begins to shift. New space is created for a stronger, more intentional identity as a couple.

My approach is active and relational. I engage directly in the process, helping you slow down interactions, recognize underlying needs, and practice more intentional ways of relating in real time. Insight and action grow together here, supporting change that feels grounded rather than temporary.

This work often resonates with couples who believe there is still something worth understanding  and who want the clarity and agency to move forward differently together.
