Kevala Kenna, Counseling in an outdoor office. Doing identity and attachment therapy in a creative setting

Sometimes something isn’t working anymore, even when you can’t fully explain why.

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable individuals who function well outwardly yet feel an internal tension or misalignment. Patterns that once felt natural may begin to feel limiting, especially within relationships or during times of change.

At Unfold, therapy focuses on understanding the deeper dynamics shaping how you relate, to yourself and to others. We explore identity, attachment, and long-standing relational roles, not only to make sense of what hurts but to understand how it developed and what becomes possible once you see it more clearly. Insight here is meant to move, toward agency, choice, and more intentional ways of living.

My approach is relational and active. I engage honestly, offering reflection and perspective while honoring your autonomy and pace. Together, we examine patterns that no longer fit and begin creating space for ways of relating that feel more aligned with who you want to be.

I work with individuals, couples, and teens navigating identity development, relationship strain, and life transitions. Many clients arrive feeling capable on the outside yet internally questioning what isn’t working and how to move forward differently.

Sometimes there’s a quiet awareness that something feels off, a tension that hasn’t yet found language.

Sometimes the in-between is where everything starts to unfold.
